That $13.91 fill probe comes to a total of $102.39, thank you very much

For what gun? Some fill probes will fit different gun manufacturers like Taipan and AGT share the same probe.
LOL, that would probably help wouldn't it? I was so dumbfounded by that checkout total that I totally forgot.

AGT U2

I already have multiple Taipan probes....so that's great news

Is there an alternative source to Huma Air? In the US preferably...

I'm not having much luck.

Maybe I just need to be careful to not lose the one that I have for now
@Sleekstak
Would you be willing to share with us how that total was reached, please.
A line-by-line recap would be most educational.

Thanks

just my too curious

I just selected the item and went to checkout. The shipping was less than $10 and the item price didn't change, but the total came out just a little bit more than I had expected....just a tiny bit. There was no explanation given but I assume it's tariff related.

Be careful out there before you hit the complete purchase button!

If my arithmetic is correct, they wanted an additional $78.48
Was there any sort of itemization of charges?

Lol.. its 10% my math 10% tariff dont make 78$ on 11$ item

Maybe extra fedupx expedited shipping cost .. you know that when i absolutely has to be there overnight.. lol..

Yeah, it's UPS that would be sticking it to me.

Just for giggles I went and restarted the checkout process and it's a much more reasonable total of $20.82 if I opt for an untracked envelope instead of UPS (I missed that) Standard shipping would be $40.59.

Bringing in products from over seas has got to be brutal for any retailers

Crazy theory but maybe huma just puts some crazy upcharge in their so no one here buys some of the smaller items because they are tired of dealing with the blowback from customers here over after the fact charges ?? I don’t know. I know A of A has been out of a small o ring kit for a long time supplied by Huma. Almost like they won’t send them or they just won’t come in 🤷‍♂️

Oh the package that gets hung up in Chicago customs for a year or so ..

That pcp ..lol. Racket .. youd think they could make the probes universal fit or just go foster.

We just need to be sure that if we order anything that it can fit in an untracked envelope, LOL

I ordered a part from Best Fittings out of the UK last year and you'd think it was used for nuclear enrichment the lengths I had to go to get it delivered.

One probe to rule them all probably makes too much sense to ever happen.

Would be cheaper to leave it attached to the fill line, even if you have to purchase a extra line..
I have done this with every airgun I have. I keep them (guns) in cases ( they all are in a climate controlled basement & are handled/ inspected almost daily)& have the
probe attached to the microbore whip , the probe lubed w/ silicone & stored in a small plastic ziplock bag. This way everything stays with the gun and is ready
at all times . No need for separate storage or lost items. Yes ,this means purchasing a hose & fittings ,included in the purchase of all new guns. Just my way of organization.

I'm going to have to start doing this w all of my probes

I have one probe on a dedicated whip and it's definately way more convenient...and cheaper than lost probes

Just recently purchased one for my Edgun R3 from Utah Airguns. Have you checked with them? Cost me $24 but WAY better than ordering from overseas. Got to me in 2 days!

My SPA probes didn't work well. I messed around with them trying various things to try and get them to work without leaking. Then I tried an Aliexpress probe. About $5 and works perfectly. So I bought several more. I don't know if they have them for all guns but if they have one that seems like the dimensions are right, for their prices I think it's worth a try.
