N/A QD Fox magazines: User opinions

I'm considering QD Fox as a source of after market magazines for my AGT U2

How do these stack up against the factory product? The price diffence isn't significant enough that it would trump buying them over the AGT mags (which are very solid and reliable) ....unless they are awesome.
I have one for my Skout Epoch and it's fine. It's not as nice as the actual Skout magazine as the stock one is machined aluminum, and the QDF is 3D printed plastic, but it feeds fine and it's less than half the price.

Usually they are significantly cheaper than stock mags and therefore a great bargain. If not I’d just stick with stock. I have them for a mk3 wildcat and an alpha wolf. Wolf mags are flawless the wildcat ones are quite a tight fit. Easily remedied. They function great. Last I knew agt mags were 50 a piece. Qd mags should be 35 for 2. Seems a significant savings 🤷‍♂️

I’m a fan of the qdfox magazines. I have 2 that I got from him for my raw 22 that I used extensively this past winter. They hold more pellets and function better than the factory mags.
I just ordered one for my Skout compact and tried it out today. It worked perfectly, even better tHan the really nice machined one that it comes with. However I just got the Skout a few weeks ago and wasn’t winding their mag. enough is my guess.

I have 2 for my Vixen and they work great. I was initially disappointed and thought they were difficult to load. I reached out to the maker and they asked if I removed the top? DUH! The top is held in place with magnets and once removed they are VERY east and much faster to load than the OEM mags. I find I reach for the Fox mags first over the OEM mags.

My buddy did the same thing with his Orion Impact mag, I watched him struggle and look disappointed for a few minutes before I intervened …

I went w the Orions this time around due the early props & the vendors involvement w the forum (it matters👍)

My gun is high shot count but 177 tiny. Also my eyes & nerve endings are bad, so will probably go w more mags and opt for loading in good light & warmth.
Just reach out if you have any question, thanks for your support!

QD Fox are pretty good and the vendor quickly addressed the single issue I had with one mag. But they aren't as good as the Orion products, so you will be happy with what you purchased.

And BTW igolfat8, I did the same d@mn thing once with some new magnetic top magazines. I was shooting alone in my back yard, but I still had to look around anyway to see if anyone had been watching! 🥴

Thanks all

Poorly functioning mags are frustrating....don't want that.

I have a few Maples for my 250z which work perfectly but they don't make AGT magazines unfortunately. But Orion is on my radar now.
The Orions are great as well. I have a few for my Dynamic and they work great. My son has some for his Impact as well and they work fine. Orion is also a super nice guy. I went with the QD Fox for my Skout because Orion doesn't make Skout mags yet.
