HW/Weihrauch HW44 Random Part

I’ve been over the schematics and cannot find this part. It feel out after the trigger assembly was removed. I believe it came from within the frame but cannot figure it out! Anyone recognize this piece and where it goes? Nothing on the schematics.

well i have looked 3 times and came up with nothing
it seems to be a part but if it in an assembly you may never see it on a parts diagram
the size would be handy say a dime as comparison and material
so my guess is it sits in a pocket and it is for protection but that is all i have
i would Email Weihrauch with a picture

Maybe a spacer between yhe trigger group and the grip frame. . Maybe a engineering after thought glued in and not a " part " so to say.

Looking at a hw"40" this looked close but I s just a long shot there used in each model or a clue ???

Like marflow i looked at lots and nothing . Even forums with pictures of one dissembled / nothing ..

It kinda looks plastic so i figured a grip/frame spacer or insert (???)


This much took apart and shows nothing on that

HW/Weihrauch - Rebuilt my HW 44 starting leaking.

Had this one for a while and started leaking air. Total rebuild of orings and good to go. Airguns of AZ wanted well over 100 to do this and said you need special tools.... Yea right hold my beer watch this. You just have to dive in. This is one of the things I enjoy with these complex airguns.

Yeah its strange. Maybe just a spacer. Ill keep and it and see if something ever arises, hope not. Functions perfectly and is amazingly accurate so we are good for now.

Ya, i had that here and the next time i snatched it apart for whatever reason then i get the " oh... Thsts where that thing went .. then dpend 1/2 the day looking for where i put that thing ..lol..

Terry's tube holder shroud thing kinda like the hw40 thing circled i gave above i guess ,,? Kinda seems 🤔

It goes in the tube holder/barrel shroud housing. I've had mine fall out during teardown. When you bolt down the grip, that keeps the plastic from compressing too much under tension. Been a while since I've juggled it back into the gun.

You're correct about that. I noticed that in the drawing as well. Fritz screwed up when he did that diagram.
