UPS opens in just over an hour and a half, and I intend to be there first thing - for two reasons.

First off, I applied for a part-time job, and they contacted me, wanting to set up an interview. I figured I would show my face before they schedule one to show that I'm interested and serious.

Mist importantly though, I need to pick up two 25" × 6" × 3" boxes to ship my Benjamin to Tim in California! That's right ... by noon today EST, my 392 will be headed to the 'Spa' at Mac1 for a fitness regime.

It will be rough not having it to shoot for a couple of weeks or so, but since the pump cup failed, I can't shoot it anyway.

The interviewer could be an enthusiast, who knows, lol!

Look for telltale signs, e.g., pellet tins, stickers, caps....lol again!

Everyone's rooting for you except the other applicant, lol for the 3rd time!

If the industry is of particular interest fedex freight is a good option as well. You can get in various ways such as a forklift operator. Actually pretty good pay and then many people move to management and driving positions. None of the union politics either. Lots of terminals and hubs in Ohio as well.

I'm not looking for full-time as I've just done a 32 year career. I'm just looking for a part-time because I'm bored as hell being retired, and while my pension covers all the bills-for the most part, It DOES NOT provide any "extra" to allow for my hobbies ... my Camaro and shooting sports and this is intolerable!!

20 to 30 (max) hours a week and a couple hundred dollars a week, suit me just fine.
