Is the single shot tray made out of metal?FYI, AoA has single-shot trays for the Blackwolf that are $20. They're not listed on the website, call to place an order. They're reversible L<->R. I'm loving mine!

No it's plastic. Functions just fine though. I'm really enjoying it!Is the single shot tray made out of metal?
Are you shooting 22 or 25 cal?I'm ready to detune my BW from factory setting of 140 bar and red spring. It is currently shooting 990fps with 25g MRD. Is it better just to lower the reg setting to get slower speed or do I need to lower the reg and change out the spring at the same time. I prefer to do just one adjustment at a time. I'm thinking lowering the reg first will get me more shots and put lower stress on the regulator to prolong the life of the gun? Also how many (clockwise) turns on the regulator to lower 10 bar at a time?
You can do one adjustment to a degree. You will lower the reg to a point where that spring will over power it even on setting 1. What that point is I have no idea. Best to work in small increments from low to high so you don’t have to degass the gun a bunch.I'm ready to detune my BW from factory setting of 140 bar and red spring. Not normal. You should watch the latest disassembly video from Daystate on YouTube.Does anybody's gun shoots out a puff of air at the breech where the magazine is on the left side. I noticed it today, is this normal?
the 17" is like the base model in price and accesories... Plus, the 17" is usually going to get the power dropped for HFT and WFTF whereas the 23" and up are usually where people start to tweak the power band. IMO.Well, seems arbitrary, another poster said the 17 does not come with extra springs. Kind of hard to understand why one would and another would not. I think I will email AOA and ask them if I should have received extra springs.
I watched the youtube video and there was a part that described my symptom exactly. Looks like I blew my breech seal / o-ring in the barrel at some point. I used a borescope to look into the barrel and confirmed it's missing. I contacted AOA service department and they confirmed my suspicion. Told me it will happen occasionally as the o-ring is constantly being worn by pushing pellets through and shooting the gun. They will be sending me replacement o-rings. It's part number 80 in the exploded diagram for future reference. Not normal. You should watch the latest disassembly video from Daystate on YouTube.
