I don’t typically hunt coyotes to just kill them. If they do not have mange, I skin them and process the hide. Mange is highly contagious and these coyote should be removed from the population anytime when seen. Also I often hunt just outside my city limits for coyotes that enter town to steal and eat peoples household pets, they have become bold and at times dangerous. I don’t think I have ever shot a health coyote and not processed it. I wear a coyote hide every time I elk hunt over my pack gear. Enjoy predator hunting ethically, population control, disease control, and supplies gathering, which humans have always done.

i have lost several calf's when i was not there during birth. which it happens sometimes but that dont give the SOB
the right to take the calf as soon as it hits the ground !!!
my grandson seen this happen one time early one morning as he was going to school on the bus.
his take on this was......it was standing there waiting for the calf to come out and then it dragged it off to the woods.
so, my family and i will continue to kill everyone we see every time we get a chance.

Everything you say here is exactly correct in my opinion. I also am going for dogs that are coming into town. I do hunt them for the bounty but I’m not driving 3 hours for that. We take the lower jaw for the bounty, my buddy will always take the pelt if it’s not gross and we always take the tails at bare minimum unless the mange gets them first.
I have zero issues leaving coyotes in their natural habitat away from people alone. They fill an important ecological niche. It is totally our fault they are everywhere now. Even more than encroaching on land it’s the near eradication of wolves. Wolves hate coyotes and don’t tolerate them on their territory. In parts of Yellowstone where wolves have been reintroduced coyote populations have gone down by as much as 60%…. Yes I know wolves present their own issues too haha. I’m not suggesting any solutions. I don’t have any. I’ll leave that to others but as long as Utah wants to pay me $100 for taking a picture on their app and turning in a jawbone, then I’ll keep shooting them.

We used to hear yotes across the lake (cattle ranch ) when we first moved here . I literally heard that the yotes died of lead poisoning .
