Hello all!
After lots of bad influences, I picked up a used and well cared for Katran from Utah air guns. Really enjoy it and the previous owner gave me the whole run down on what’s been replaced and what it’s tuned for. It’s had a new regulator with an updated design to allow degassing from beneath the shroud, and it’s been tuned for JSB .25 exact king pellets 29gr pellets.
Over all it shoots great, but the first 3-4 rounds are seemingly difficult to feed. Either using too much force, or going back and forth a few times or wiggling the magazine. It looks like the front edge of the pellet get caught on the magazine, which can lead to bending the cone as well. I also notice my first 3 shots tend to group different then the remaining which would make sense if I’m deforming them a bit.
Just curious what the consensus is out there and if others experience this! Thank you!
