Not in my back yard!

There were three crows harassing the song birds nests this morning. But not on my property! I grabbed my back porch gun, and took out one of the flying rats at 30 yards with a head shot with my trusty Hatsan edge .22 . The other to crows freaked. Bet they won't be back!

You don't need a PCP to hunt small game at 40 yards or less. Guys have been hunting with spring piston and pumpers long before PCP came into existence.
Exactly.

Also with bow and arrow, with bumerangs. ….

Indeed hunting with a brake barrel is like a travel to the 1950’s ancient kids adventure.

Technology of the romantic past times.

Although our crow season starts August 22nd ( yeah ???) ,If they are in destructive activity at Ag facilities or crops , they can be taken out. So ,,, a couple days ago while watching for Ghogs , I saw some crows lifting off the new silage bag & one landed in a tree about 35yrds from me. That was not a good choice of perches as my Stoeger Bullshark sent an 18.5 gr Apolo Hunter into it for a quick knockout. The other partners in crime screamed a bit then flew off.
