Huben GK1 - 'Feather' carbon fiber air tube - where do I get more such carbon fiber tubes?

GK1 air tubes come in both the traditional carbon fiber weave and the feather carbon fiber weave.

They make the moderator in the feather CF tube, but seem to no longer make the airtube with the feather CF finish. The feather airtube matches perfectly with their in-house moderator.

Question: I'd like to find the CF tube with a 25 mm outside diameter and a 23mm inside diameter. Does anyone know where I can find this?

Thanks.

The pressure tube is made of titanium with a CF wrap. It's about 33mm OD, according to my caliper. It holds the high pressure air.

Simple CF tubing is easy to find, eBay, Amazon, etc. I made a shroud for my GK1 out of CF tubing. It was 25mm in diameter. My tubing was 1.5mm wall, so the ID was 22mm. Figured it would be stronger.

Here's a link to some CF tubing. Haven't bought from them, so no idea if a decent supplier. https://www.ebay.com/itm/294165758569

Hope that helps.

Thanks! I meant this weave/pattern on the Carbon Fiber Tube.

You are looking for a CF wrap, not a tube. The air cylinder is made of titanium, not CF. The titanium tube holds the air, the CF veneer is only decorative. So look for CF wrap material. Sorry, haven't researched CF wraps. I suppose it could be a tube, but that might be even harder to find.
What concerns me is your comment of looking for a 25/23mm CF air tube. Your measurements or estimates of size are not even close to reality. High pressure air is not to be trifled with, it can kill you. A 1mm wall CF tube can explode with high pressure. Be careful. End of cautious talk.

No worries. I'm not looking to make an air tube. But rather, to make stock to match the feather air tubes

Appreciate the cautious talk. This is what this forum is for - to help each other. Thank You.

(y) Just didn't want random readers to think that a plain thin wall CF tube would hold up to HPA. CF is strong, but needs to be purposely made for it, like in a CF bottle. To the best of my knowledge, the CF bottles have a liner, with a CF overlay.

I'd be looking for vinyl (or something like that) wrap with a CF look. Or perhaps there's CF tape? The hard part will be to find the weave with your desired pattern. CF fabric manufacturers? Then there's the issue of cleanly adhering to the tube with a nice or hidden seam.

Good luck in your search.

you are correct, the carbon fiber tanks are aluminum inside and carbon fiber outside for strength.. it's why they have a end of life date.. unlike steel and aluminum bottles that can be hydro tested once the carbon fiber is a certain age it's done..
