Any airgun clubs/events in northern illinois area?

I have tried to search and had no luck so I'll just make a post. I am very new here but I have been shooting break barrels for basically 30yrs, every day. I just did my own thing mostly and maybe brought a friend along to plink now and again. But I am always the only one with airguns. I am looking for some people in the northern Illinois area that maybe meet up somewhere to shoot. I have only ever owned walmart/bass pro guns so I would really like to see what the higher end stuff is like but I don't have that kinda money to throw around on unknowns. Also maybe try out a PCP gun. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Not to much it seems. Plug "Illinois" search, a few posts (2 pages) on with 14 responses. One mentioned NR50 , and while there calendar only listed on FT match on July 19th "I" would look into it. You "could" shoot NR or FT with whatever you have and club shoots are always excellent to see airgun. NO matter the event it is seldom to find airgun folks there who only own ONE airgun.
Search, read all posts made by anyone responding and contact some still active people. Believe but cant recall there is a known tuner somewhere in Illinois? Likely to know who is near you if not him. It IS worth your time driving several hours to handle, talk, perhaps even purchased and learn more about airguns in 1 day than a years of "research" on the Internet.
I'm sure some other friendly member with the info you need will come along but look into https://www.chiefcityshooters.com/monthly-events/411/field-target asap.

Check out Badgerland Airgun Association in Bristol Wisconsin- - Not far north of the Illinois / Wisconsin border.
