nobody1,

Your post (When moderators break easily) contains Discussion of the creation, fabrication, or modification of airgun moderators:
I have 3D printed plenty of moderators which broke in their weak spot.

The weak spot seems to always be right in front of the barrel or the OEM moderator.

The photos show a Umarex Notos moderator where the weak spot strikes again.
In the case of the Umarex Notos mod here, an easy fix was to make the walls much ticker at the point where it broke (right in front of the OEM Notos mod).

I hate airgun manufacturers like Umarex (see Notos) or Gamo (see Urban) who permanently glue their moderators to the barrels.
They only had to add a 1/2-20 thread to the barrel and would have likely cost less.
Then we would not have to spend many hours and dollars trying to add a moderator on top of their crappy OEM moderators.

PS
All of you airgun shooters with wide open spaces around you (or annoying neighbors) can ignore this post.

If I cannot say what I think then this forum is not worth anybody's time.

By the way, a 3D printed plastic airgun moderator is useless on a firearm.
By another way, there is a law about moderators on firearms, but there is no law about moderators on airguns.

So, the cowardly owners of this site go **** yourselves.
You are a good contributor. Don’t storm off over a plastic can. Now if it’s over a nice carbon fiber can, then I’d completely understand.

Haha, back in my early BSA muzzle brake wearing ear plugs days, I wound up fabbing my own. Pinchetta was the first guy I purchased one from. Then Neil.
