Homemade/Handmade stock: Build Process

I have a watch my Father wore, when I handle it it brings back such powerful and wonderful memories.

I'd like to think that you experience the same warm feelings as you create art with your father's tools.
He was a great guy..and he had some unique, purpose made tools. Think of him daily. Thanks for sharing. John

Looks beautiful! Nice pics. How did you do the texturing? It’s always nice when you can use something your Dad used to have or use from back in the day. 👍🏼
Thank you! The texture was applied with a foredom tool, using a 1/16” ball burr. Tried to keep the pattern random, with overlapping impressions. John
