Barra Nasty leade, .22 250Z

Surprisingly well at 50 yards with MRDs. OK at 75. Awful at 100. I haven't messed with any tuning yet.

They got me a new and un damaged barrel. Looks great in scope and groups look promising at 25yds.

No luck for me, again.
The leade isn't quite as bad as the last two barrels. But still unacceptable.
And worse yet. About 12" from the muzzle I found this nightmare!
I was told it was going to be borescoped before sending it to me. I have my doubts!
The box arrived in this state. Nothing but the original thin bubble wrap and some brown paper for protection. I'm amazed it wasn't bent.
I was hopeful... 4 for 4. Junk.

No. I haven't installed any of the ones I've recieved.
It would be a waste of time to install the latest one, with that rough patch in the middle. That would lead up, in no time.
The lands aren't even formed properly. Looks like an inclusion of slag or something soft that couldn't be 'cut'. Plowed is a more accurate term!
The "inspected" barrel was as filthy as the other I got. Any "inspector" worth a damn would have run a patch or 5 through it before putting a scope in it.

Yeah, I did send her the recent vids.I got 125 pellets through it. I’m not cleaning it for Borescope, but I know what a good looking leade looks like and this one I got was great.

I take it back, I would have been real happy to get a barrel like that! You lucky dog. The next thing that you're going to say is that your stock actually worked, and could be collapsed and extended too, I bet. Some people get all the luck.

I purchased a new .22 barrel and asked them to bore scope it before they send it.. They replied ..

Doubt if they own a bore scope.. Hopefully you get a good ne. Seems they (barra) are trying. Lack of quality is on the factory on this. Credit to Barra for trying to stock parts though. Many do not care for after sales services these days.... Maybe they can forward the info to snowpeak for better CC.

I think their inspection process is holding it up to a light and looking through it naked eye...
