FX Going to buy a new FX ? Do it now. I mean like right now

Definitely tempted to buy a FX King, but decided not going to be pushed in to it by tariffs or price hikes. The market with do what it’s going to do, let supply and demand, secondary market, and export/import do its thing to work it out first. I am going to stay out of it. I am not going to do the Costco toilet paper thing with Airguns from Europe. If Airguns are out pricing more high end enthusiasts then manufacturers got a bigger problem on their hands….

jps , pretty offensive description of truck buyers. What do you consider a “red neck” ?
Must be different than a buyer of a hot $80+ k sports car, or I’ll bet you have an insulting
comment for a Harley rider that would pay $40k for a CVO.
I was one who saved your overpriced Air Arms, would have paid $1k you came down $50 big deal
It makes me laugh when a city boy makes a comment like that. All they ever do is drive their little commuter car to starbucks and the office. Some of us need a truck to do truck things, they just cant understand. And as a certified red neck myself I take no issue when a soft handed fellow has a different "opinion". :ROFLMAO:

I don't think it is offensive...I still drive a 1997 step side Chev truck bought new. I agree with jps. I paid $16,797 and change for my '97 and cannot understand a $80k pickup even with the dollar inflation. I don't think jps made a derogatory statement...just a generality that folks should also complain about prices in general...and very soon car prices are going through the stratosphere with tariff taxes!

I didn’t find it offensive either. We all have seen the guys truck parked in the driveway of his dwelling and ponder his priorities.

I had a blue truck exactly like yours. But unfortunately in Pa, you have to dump them after 5 years if you drive it in the winter. It’s one of the few things I miss about living in Oklahoma. Vehicles stayed rust free. Just had to dodge hail and tornadoes.

I just found a new love for the nice rifles I can't seem to give away on the classifieds. I'm pulling them off the market. I guess that's why our hobby is suffering because now, all newbies want the cheapo guns.
An item is only worth what it is sold for. Your guns didn’t sell.
You priced too high. Your “ arrogance “ (sorry I don’t want to offend but that’s what popped out)
at fixed price meaning don’t bother me with offers.
This new hobby of mine will be fleeting, I’ll come to a time to get rid of because I don’t want my
kids to have get rid of. I know I’ll not be loosing money but spending a large percentage just to
have for awhile.
Peace JPS

It wouldn’t be FX doing the “thing” mentioned above it would be the US impoter(s) or vendors here selling them not lowering the price when tariffs come off. I honestly don’t think we would see that happen. Plus of the free market. The vendors that did that wouldn’t last.
Well it looks like FX is choosing to be one of those companies that wont let a good crisis go to waste. Like was mentioned above their price increase is international, not just to the US. If it was only due to tariffs they wouldnt charged everyone in the world more, and when the tariffs go away I bet they dont lower their prices. FX has enough shady business practices in my opinion and this is the last straw for me. Companies like Athlon, Vortex, GM etc have not raised prices due to a temporary tariff and I will choose to support the ones that dont. And for the ones that do, like Arken and FX I will choose to not support.

If I were looking for a pickup to haul stuff, this size is perfect.

Maybe something between Sweden and China went sour. Now it’s getting passed on. And confirming what I already think Ive known since owning that DRS.

No kidding. Yeah your point is spot on. So the increase went everywhere? Even in their own country ?
