This is my portable target holder, not too expensive and easy to make. I made it to shoot shoot pistols at any distance but works great in my back yard for air rifle.

I like it but looks heavy and hard to load up and go somewhere with it ..lol.
Id call it a pretty darn nice more permanent backyard rack ..
i like it for that but not to go to another place the shoot .
Maybe some cheap easy to get push mower wheels to roll ot out of the way when mowing

I think it weighs about 20 lbs. the bullet trap is a lot heavier. I can easily fit it into my pickup. I take it in and out of my garage every time I shoot.I like it but looks heavy and hard to load up and go somewhere with it ..lol.

HMMMM with wheels so it would move back an inch every shot , a "self adjusting distance increaser target ? " HAHAHAHAI like it but looks heavy and hard to load up and go somewhere with it ..lol.

Harbor freight has wheel chocks on the cheap..
personally id just use a rock or limb laying around handy ..lol Its fine ... No yrap involved but i made these up for quick setup and load up and go .. made from cow panel . Just push stab in ground where needed and pull up and load up when done .

I make target butts from a large softwood (spruce, pine or cedar) log mounted on three legs for stability. They are solid but not overly heavy so they're easy to move around.
It takes about 15 minutes to make one, they last for thousands of shots and it's pretty easy to reclaim the lead. The (leveled) horizontal piece of wood is used as a reference to level my targets and as a support to hang targets from.
