Recommendations on small tanks

Look for a paintball tank of 90 inches or so and a fill station valve with the right thread as a buddy bottle or a commercial jb guppy tank etc. That with a small compressor can keep you going pretty well. You don't have to wait for the compressor to fill your gun and you can fill the bottle with a check valved foster while you shoot and still be able to charge your gun. If that makes sense. I can elaborate more later if needed but it's time to work. Good luck and have a great day!

If the prices from a dealer like Top Gun scare you look to
Tuxing store. Shipped from California no tariff worries.
I have A Tuxing compressor, filters, and 4 various sized
carbon fiber bottles. Very satisfied with all.

Also if you are looking for a bottle there are in my opinion 2 types portable and stationary. If you just want air storage for lots of fills at home buy the largest tank your compressoe will support a gx cs4 suggests 6.8 L. Now if you want a light weight backpack cary size you might want a smaller bottle for weight considerations. Its all up to your needs and wants. And if you fill yourself ezpired certified bottles are considerably cheaper just know you will not be able to have it filled by some other company

For portable I like 2L or 3L and a backpack.
At home when working on guns overnight I have several 9L & 6.8L bottles.
All of mine are CE certified and you have to fill those at home as Dive Shops and various other locations will require the MUCH more expensive DOT certified.
You have a compressor so no issue there.

If you plan to tether your gun, I like to use a regulated fill valve set to around my gun regulator setting or a nominal value for non-regulated.

The output from my compresser is a female foster fitting. The outlet from my bottle is also a female foster fitting. So when I refill the bottle I use a male to male foster fitting to connect the two. Costs a few dollars. Available on Amazon (but be sure the rating is 5000 psi). I'm sure there are other ways to make this connection but this is covenient.

I have two 9 liter tanks and one of the 3 Liter Tuxing tanks show in post No. 6. They each have their uses.
If I were to have only one tank, I'd choose a 6.8 liter - no too heavy and sufficient air storage. Yes. a 6.8 liter tank can be filled with a CS4-i. I suggest filling in stages with adequate cool down in between but others have reported good success with a one stage fill.

Just clarifying that Jack probably means filling the tank in stages for the initial fill from empty. Most folks do top offs in one run, if the tank is not too depleted - say, from 3500-4500 psi or so . . .
