Crazy New Gun Justification

What are some of the craziest reasons you used to convince yourself to buy a new gun?

I'll start...

I had a large assortment of .177 10+ grain pellets and the highest power rifle I owned at the time was a Crosman Fire. Not nearly enough juice for heavier pellets. So instead of just shooting through what I had and sticking with my .22 PCPs, I decided that it would be better to get a higher-powered PCP and see what I've been missing. I bought a Reximex Meta .177 off of the classifieds and haven't looked back.

Nothing major. If I felt like getting a gun, I got it. I usually have done a fair amount of reading up on the gun before purchasing. However that didn’t exempt me from biases.

I bought a Western Sidewinder to help take care of 50 boxes of .30 NSA slugs I had lying around. Owned it for a month and it solved my slug problem. Then I sold it.

There’s no method to my madness. If I want to expand into a different caliber, type or style, I just do. Normally I have two of whatever.

I needed to buy an extra zeus for when my zeus was being sent back to bin. Then i needed another one in case the spare one had a problem.

Funny how as soon as I got 5 of them i haven't had an issue since.

Saw two coyotes 4 days in a row. Perfect excuse for an upgrade but i bet I won't see them again if I do!

I ordered 10 tins of .22 H&N Field Target Trophy Pellets from Midway and received one tin of .20 H&N Field Target Trophies. So I called AoA and ordered a HW97k.

Solved that pellet problem.

Been there, owned one and sold it. The HW97k is one of my favorites. I highly recommend one in .20 caliber.
