Need help with the ghost

WHAT IS A GOOD BENCH REST AND REAR REST FOR THE GHOST?
buy a bag rider from PRS its the bottom thingy in this picture that attaches via the small section of picatinny on your ghost. You can also make these using a picatinny scope ring and a piece of 30 mm aluminum tubing. Once you have your rear attachment, you can go with a saddle type v-slot or squeeze bag.

The PRS stuff is great, no doubt about it. But greatness comes at a price!

I bought one of these off fleaBay for 35 bucks, and it serves my purposes well too.

i only concern my self with quality; but thats me. there is very limited real estate at the back end of a ghost. that said.. does that fit a ghost? if not it's money down the drain.

It does. And because it has a screw you can tighten with your fingers or a screwdriver, it is solid with no wobble.

I also tried some different ones. Maybe about the same price but you get 2 (one tall one short). These are made to fit a specific Ruger precision rifle and did not fit the Ghost as received. But a few swipes with a triangular file and they fit well. Interference fit keeps them solid - at least for now. But I could see them getting looser over time if they were regularly installed/removed from the gun. No screw to tighten on these. This is the low one:

Actually, I've made a bit of a mistake here. As we age, the memory is many times the first thing to go.

For some reason I had recalled that the PRS bag riders were on the order of $160. But this is WRONG - they are only about $62. At that price it really doesn't make any real sense to get an eBay special and make it work. Just go with the quality PRS product as recommended above.
