I have a 22 cal Umarex Zelos and I have added 4 baffles but I would like to get a moderator for it, my buddy has a Donny Fly Koi and I tried it on mine and it really help a lot but any suggestions before I order one?

I've tried a couple of moderators. I ultimately just chose the Bravo 3D baffles w/ no moderator because the length of the Zelos and accuracy. I am able to get a quarter size group at 50 yards.

I got the Buck Rail modular suppressor; my Zelos is .22 and got the larger diameter moderator in .25.
It seems to make a significant difference.
I used a DB app on my phone, tho not very scientific is shows 6-10 db difference.
I tried a NFA .22 suppressor I have and it was no quieter, so I'll stick with the Buck Rail.

Sorry no, but on my Impact M3 at 85 ftlbs and STO Falx and Pugio are way quieter than that DonnyFL, The DonnyFL still has a crack, neither the Falx or Pugio do.
I am currently using the STO Falx on my DRS 25 700 at 85 ftlbs which doesn't have a shroud, it is still back yard friendly. The Pugio is marginal without a shroud.

Curious if anyone is finding trends with these that affect grouping. I have heard the weight at the end of the barrel can affect the resonance. I do lots of 3d printing I'll have to find one that works.

I have a koi on my .22 zelos and it does a really good job. Better than the buckrail mod. I’m sure there are more quiet options but the koi makes mine backyard friendly

I am now using subscriber's Tesla Valve moderator for every airgun with a 1/2-20 adapter, at least 7-8 airguns so far, including a .22 Zelos.
It is the most quiet one I tried.

Given the power a Reximex Silent Force from sharg.pl is plenty and is under $50 shipped. Tested it against a Sumo and Falx and it was quieter on 4 .22 and a .25.

I bought 2 of them , I think about $23 apiece. Really incredible. Tested with a cheap $20 decibel meter.
Wish I bought a couple more. Here’s a note
the top heading is nothing, Reximex, STO Sarrisa, Huma / 4 sections, Buckrail
Only problem is the site is in Polish.

You can change the language, I think there is a British flag. It is mostly in English for me. I have 8 of them. Just got 3 more on Friday. Seem to be fairly stout probably 500 rounds through my Niksan Ozark .25 and almost that many through my .25 Throne 2. Snowpeak Max1 is currently in burn-in with one.
