Very nice Ricky! Never heard of a RW Mutant. Any pics?

I call my RW a “Mutant” because it originally came in .22 cal. Accuracy sucked since day 1 using the .22 LW barrel so I converted it to .177 by machining a LW polygonal blank

No video?

Tommy....I think he posts them....but just as a person with a different screen name. 😀

Did not know, thanks Mike.

A vast majority of us on this challenge don’t make videos. I love seeing Ricky’s but I could not be bothered. I’m spending enough right now without adding more. 😀

Besides, next big purchase for me is a compressor later in the year.

Can I use my .25?
Thinking the larger pellet would be a little unfair with this scoring system.
Yes, you can use your .25. We have some .25 caliber on the leaderboards.

Please use a .22 scoring plug with the .25 - it works fine as the .25 holes are still slightly smaller than the .22 plug.

Thanks for the clarification. I look forward to participating.

Hi Guys,
Had a calm evening yesterday after a 4 day mini-Nor'Easter (10-20kt winds instead of 30-40kt). So broke out the FT rig to see if I could replace my "Mulligan" score on the leaderboard.

30yd Challenge - 198 - 15x So I didn't quite beat the 198 -17x, but at least it won't have to marked as a "Mulligan Card" :giggle: .

This was shot using a CARM SSL straight out of the FX 13.4gr tin. This lot of tins is primarily 4.52mm heads and this barrel seems to like them better than some of my other lot which tend to be 4.54mm heads. I am not sorting the pellets. I just do a quick test with a 4.53 Pellet Gager (48 pellets at once) when I first open the tin to see what I have. Generally, if they fall through this gage, I find that when measured more accurately they tend to be 90% 4.52mm, 6% 4.53, and 4% 4.51.

Cheers,
Greg
