N/A Haenel 311 broken piston need help plz.

I bought a rifle in a pawnshop with a torn piston. Probably the piston cap was not securely fixed at the factory, that's why the piston was torn off. These are the consequences, the thread of the piston cap was worn out, I did not find any other damage, the thread on the piston is intact. I only ordered a new cap. The rifle is in mint condition, this is evident from the blueing of the piston. They tried to repair the rifle, but they could not disassemble it completely, they also could not reassemble it correctly, since the rifle is very complex in design and experience in repairing these rifles is needed. Many parts were lost during assembly and disassembly. The missing parts did not turn out to be a problem and I ordered new OEM ones. My question is the following, is it worth putting the cap on the thread lock? I am afraid that there is some invisible defect in the piston and the cap will be torn off again, will it hold reliably? Or maybe use JD glue or epoxy?

the parts diagram at JG air guns doesn't show that piece to be threaded even though it looks that way
oh, i can see the damage but the set screw is holding it together with it set in the dimple
would i put something on the set screw hell yes
would i try to shim the stem with something maybe but you are looking at maybe 8-15 thousands just guessing
JG has a complete piston for sale
had to go to Waffencenter Gotha to see what this looks like, i needed to educate myself
