FX New fx pistol?

I havent heard anything since the tradeshow debut. No hype, no specs, no prototypes on youtube like fx usually does. Is it vapor ware? They're just pushing the new maverick replacement as of now. Wasn't the pistol debut to market alleged to be in a month or two?
I'm sure they'll be out in time to shoot halos

They're not for everybody. It's a complex system that is overload for most people. There's a umarex page in case you accidentally landed under the fx tag
Different subject but quick update. No silicone but not completely dry slug test still going quite well with that LW barrel. How long the gun sits has no ill effects as of late. Last night a dead mouse at 68 yards. First shot after several days. Today two starlings at 85 and 105. Not quite at 100 shots yet but so far so good.

I have one and they are great. Don't have to worry about leaky Orings. Shoots near one hole groups at 10 yards and did not cost a small fortune. Also have an HW44 that will shoot one hole groups at 10 yards. Have killed numerous tree rats with both.
I've seen the old ones, the new one with a strip feed mag looks useful for killing squirrels under my friends 2k ft² of decking.

Orings worry too many people, it's really no biggy to me. The only one of my 6 PCPs to ever leak was my old mrod. Orings mean modular lego build, which I like. I can try home brew parts easily if I want to.

I tell most people not to buy an fx because I'm worn out on repeat questions, concerns, golden screwdriver events and them being mad that they can't figure it out and it's not perfectly tuned out of the box and making it's own ammo for the price.

Nice! I haven't been playing with the slug gun lately, I've been having fun tweaking some old crosmans and using the 25 dreamline for pigeons. I've needed less power at this squirrel property so my impact is off the table. Hence the curiosity on a pistol I might be able to afford vs a leshiy 2

Seems to me even the push on the leopard was kind of low key ? Although I have unsubscribed from all the YouTube channels that only come out of the woodwork when fx has a new gun 🤷‍♂️
Here we agree incredibly well. The marketing on youtube by parties with financial interest in those companies.... But don't disclose its an infomercial bothered me. I did things to my impact that made it perform better mathematically but really detracted from the overall enjoyment of it before I caught on to their tactic.

The powerblock update is what broke me. I missed that rolling update by a couple months, buy one and mic it and do my best to compare things and my final conclusion was: this wasn't a performance update nearly as much as it was a safety update for those dialing the plenum pressures up way higher.

Fx having it's financial backers tied in with the accessories companies while running the biggest airgun channels and the marketing wankery that goes along with it BUGS ME. The modularity, thought process behind them and forward thinking for future upgrades/repairs I do like. The liner system I would like a lot more if you could just liner swap to any caliber available without a barrel tube change....but that's the catch.

Hey it's still a lot a lot cheaper and more rewarding than hotrod trucks 😅 I'd rather change 700 orings than transmissions or rear end gears all fiscal week.

I'm not an fx "worshiper" and they're not perfect or Inflallable but it's probably my favorite manufacturer rn. I'm not brand loyal to justify my purchases, or a hater because orings or inability to problem solve. It's JUST A TOOL.

I recall Dubber saying (of the new FX pistol) "In production in September." So likely pretty early for any significant quantity of prototypes to be in the hands of testers. And generally their paid Youtube presenters won't release a vid until product launch day even though they've had the product for a month or so.
I want them to hurry so I can wait a year to buy it and avoid the rolling updates of the m3 impact.
