FX 30 cal 1:22 TR liner = CRAP

10 tins of pellets and 5 boxes of slugs later I figured it out why FX released good for all 1:22 twist rate liner, so we can keep buying more ammo trying to figure it out and they are laughing and keep selling more pellets and slugs.

This liner was developed for one main purpose, to keep PCP economy up floating during slow covid years, that's it.

It's good for nothing, shoots ok 40 yards, but that's about it, that's as good as its capable of.
I have 30 cal crown with this liner and now M3 with same liner, both same results.

Anyways, ordered myself pellet liner for M3 and switching to heavy linter 22 cal for crown and calling it good.

Hi Superpete. Those are choked liners. I'm just wondering if yours is installed with the choked end towards the breech.

My .30 cal barrel is 1:37 and shoots pellets extremely well.

I use their 1:40 .30 liners in my RTI and they shoot great.

Try the 1:22 twist rate barrel with heaver slugs 62 to 64 grain throw as much power to it
as you can 1020-1030 fps is best I know a couple of guys shooting that barrel its good.

Not all of those barrels are created equal and there was even a left hand and a right hand twist made.

I never tried that before with my mav .30 sniper. As soon as I went from NSA 49.5's to 54.5's and 61.5's, I immediately switched from the 1:22 to the 1:18 twist liner. I won't try to go above 116fpe for fear of bending another cocking rod and rod guide, but I have a lot of 54.5's on hand. It's easy to swap liners and crank up the power, so I have nothing to lose. I'm looking forward to trying this.

Thanks, That is very aggressive, probably need to change hammer weight too,
