Okay, reading the responses i saw someone say .22. Didn't know of anything heavier than 25.39 in 22 other than the 33 beast.

There in lies my dilemna; i can not get more than812 fps out of it with 26 grain hn hunter extremes

drop your reg to 115-120 and tell me what happens, touch nothing else. make 1/8 turns on the reg or drop 2-4 bar and shoot a few shots then continue, don't just dial down 10-15 bar. if your velo rises you were past plateau

Or his hammer weight couldn’t handle 130b. Dreamlines have various weights of hammers I believe. If it was a .22 and converted to a .25, then there could be the issue.

Ok, ill give that a shot. Btw reg takes minutes to refill back to 125. But will stay above 120 for successive rapid shots. I will drop it as you suggest. I really appreciate yout guys help. I have asked the prev owner if it was a .25 out of the box or a converted 17 or .22. Just to isolate oit the hammer weight issue…if. hammer spring is at a plateau where i have it now, tighter or looser drops the fps. “Slider block” is just moveable

at least 3 are available, I was under the impression stock hammer weight was the same on all.
I know they slightly changed things post sept 2021. but 130 is definitely around where my stock .25 maxed out. regardless, he should be able to hit 900 even at 100b, obviously it would be using a good bit of air, but, possible.

Thats why the suggestion that he lowers the reg to 120 and try that setting is a good idea. If the gun starts to wake up then we would have that information.

FX guns ship from dealers jacked up all the time. A dude orders a .22 Dreamline, all they have is a .25. Because FX’s are so “modular”, they put a .22 barrel, probe and mag in the gun and ship it. Now he has an air hog compared to all the other guys he reads bragging about their guns. Problem is with some of their guns, there is some inner trickery that’s overlooked. The weight of the hammer, or the strength of the valve return springs on the Impacts. The first dude probably sold it because he thought he bought a pig. And he did. It’s fixable. You’ll have a squirrel smasher after you roll up your sleeves and get to work finding the problem. I know FX has guys thinking all the knobs and screws is the answer to their prayers. I'm just trying to get diagnostic information as you deduced. want to know if Hammer strike is light even at max, dropping pressure will tell.
Now that we've been told the recharge to 125 takes MINUTES... that's worrying for the reg, shouldn't be the case at all.
FX had a couple of Jacked up mis labeled TPs that caused lower power at what people thought were high settings. a valve issue is possible.
possible pellet debris or something else in TP.
The reg recharge is worrying.

True. And with a FX he could just have a bad reg gauge. Been shooting at 90b the whole time he thought he was at 130b.
Ask me how I know. I burned up a pound or two of slugs because of a crap gauge on a brand new Impact years ago.
