I'm wondering if I can safely fill a huben Gk1 SHORTY with a 12v pcp clunker compressor. I'm having a hard time finding an affordable 5k compressor
Huben Wondering if I can fill a Huben GK1 SHORTY with a 12 volt pcp 4500 psi clunker compressor to 5000psi.. Im having a hard time finding a 5k compressor

Curious as to why would someone consider that,I only ask becaue I was having a hard time getting to 3500psi with a hand pump.I know it is only 500 more psi.....Hercules Cortez could do it.

Also consider the small volume of the GK1 reservoir, even smaller for a GK1 Shorty. Also, why risk tearing up a compressor prematurely when you don't have to?

I do not run my GK 1 at max pressure, 4000 is the max I put in it typically sits around 3000 give or take, this is my everyday carry at work for farm pest. I do have the GX 4 compressor so 5000 is possible.

GX cs4 no problem, rated for Huben pressure.
Tuxing ed 042 , rated for 4500psi but I fully fill the Huben fast

I don’t think I’ll be heavy enough to push the pump down with that much pressure. It gets very hard when it’s that much presure
