Two compressors in parallel?

I did this with a couple old Hatsan compressors, the small really slow variety. It worked well, but I also built a T connector with 2 one way valves so pressure would not flow back into either compressor if one of the outputs was higher than the other. I just used a couple cheap fill nipples for the inputs and an foster fitting for the output.

What an interesting idea. Running both compressors into a t-splitter and then to your gun or bottle. The only issue I see would be overpressuring the receiving vessel. Depending on how quickly the pressure builds I can see a potential issue with an over pressure at the fill. You might want to considere a pressure gauge in-line after the t for monitoring your final fill pressure. I realize the pressure throughout your created system will equalize but we are talking about high pressure that can be dangerous. Just my thoughts.

That's basically exactly what I was thinking about doing. Where did you get that tee? I've seen similar ones online but they're either not rated for the pressure or don't have the correct size threads.

look up High pressure hose repair shop near you for parts . don't order on line , go to the source . On line Advertising can be deceiving words used .

It is easy to do - you don't even need the check valves in the line, as air pressure is "self balancing" and will flow where needed to balance the pressure in the system.

While I have used it to run two compressors in tank, I really only did that as a proof of concept test. I fill with a Shoebox compressor, and have a second as a backup if needed. It was a successfully test. But what I really got the Stikman for was to do the opposite - fill two tanks off one compressor. I have done that many times and it works great. Sure the fill is slower, but I hook it up once and let it do its thing and I end up with two full tanks. Works great.

My CS-1 didn't come with one. I don't recall seeing it on their site either. I'll take a look around online though.

I've seen that but looks like they're out of stock unfortunately. And I was also thinking I may not need check valves on the splitter because the compressor should be able to at lest hold it's own pressure back. Plus that way I could possibly still use the automatic pressure shutoff.
