HW/Weihrauch This morning's 177 Hw95 targets.

The weather has been great lately so I'm taking advantage of it while it lasts. Here's some of this mornings targets. These are from my first Weihrauch rifle. A 177 Hw95. First up, 5 shots @ 25 yards. For size reference the red dots are only a 1/4".
First row 8.4 FX (JSB)
Second row 10.3 FX (JSB)
Third row 7.9 AA (JSB)

Shot left to right, top to bottom. Scope adjustment after third group scattered fourth group. Tenth group would have been great if not for the low/left flyer.

I got in a couple tenshot groups at 50 before I had to stop because of breeze and fatigue. These dots are 1". I'm pretty happy with these group. They're the 8.4 FX btw. Thanks for letting me share.

Be well all.
Ron

Very nice springer shots 10 @ 50

This is one that you have massaged and molded corrrect?

OUTSTANDING consistency across the board, and three different pellet types thrown in just to keep it interesting....
I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but I believe that rifle could be considered a reliable meat getter.
Well done sir, and thank you for keeping hope alive.

If you meant the gun I lowered the stock comb. No, but did upgrade the stock to Luxus stock 5 or 6 years ago. I massaged this rifles innards a long time before that. I put a PG2 Vortek kit in it in early 2016 when the factory spring broke in the first summer. The rifle probably has ~40k rounds through it. It is on its second Vortek spring. Still shooting smoothly at 14-15 fpe depending on pellet. It'll shoot 1/2" @ 50 yards on my best days with the right tin of pellets. It's probably my most dependably accurate rifle.

I take it out when I need a break from problem rifles or need to see if my accuracy problem with them is me 🙄

You need windflags. You will be ahead of the game and have lots of fun. Good shooting but with flags will get even better.

Thanks, I'm really kind of a jerk off when it comes to shooting. I don't take myself seriously enough to bother with wind flags or sorting pellets. I'm happy enough to have occasional good accuracy days. I'm really only serious about the function of my equipment. I want to enjoy shooting and my OCD won't let me if the rifle isn't working perfectly.
