Christmas came on 10 June 2025 this year.
I have previously owned two other Thomas .177 rifles. I purchased both used here on AGN...
The first one was a bench rest specific model and the other one was a full length field target version; both were exceptional shooters.
But Life Happens and at 68 years young, I chose to reduce both the length and weight of my airguns.
Thusly, some 16 months ago, I placed an order for a brand new Thomas .177 in the carbine version.
What makes this particular rifle so cool, is that I can shoot HFT, and HFT pistol and EFT pistol all with the same gun!
I'm currently rocking the Nightforce NX8 4-32x50 in second focal plane - these parallax / range really nicely! I may, or may not add an eyecup on this rig.
The 6" parallax wheel is a hybrid magnetic type that was made by Scope werks; Eric Sanders of Scope Werks has been mastering these new 3D/Aluminum designs.
The Shoulder / Butt piece is an MDT - very nice! Shoulder / Butt interface is not included with a Thomas. I bought this shoulder piece soooo long ago i forgot i even had it.
I also chose to have a pellet pusher (seating probe) installed directly on the breech, as my fingers are terrible at seating a pellet to the proper depth.
I haven't decided what i want to use as my barricade stop for the sticks "yet" but generally, less is more. I may figure out if i can make a Palm Riser aka Hamster that can double as the stop.
A 3300 psi fill should easily finish a 60 shot match.
If you are familiar with the Thomas platform, look very closely at the last picture and scratch your head for a long while.
