CS4-I Portable PCP Air Compressor

Greetings,

I just purchased a CS4-I Portable PCP Air Compressor for my grandson to be used in southern Mississippi to fill an Umarex Zelos (250 cc tube) and hopefully small SCBA tanks. Due to the extreme humidity down here, do I need to purchase a filter or water separator of some sort?

Please excuse my ignorance I am brand new to air gunning. Thanks in advance.

GX makes a filter that goes between the compressor output and the gun/tank input. That's what I bought, and it seems pretty popular with the crowd here.

I have one on my CS-4 and I live in Florida. I can saw that it does an excellent job removing moisture. It's also rated to 5000 psi, so it works well with the CS-4!

If you email them, they might give you an idea of when they'll have stock. They did for me. They are responsive but in a very different time zone (I'm assuming).
