FX Leopard .25 Cal 600 mm bottle arrived. My experience.

I have not been able to shoot without wind.

Once the opportunity appears, I will make some groups at 131 yard.

Even with wind it is clear that this rifle is as accurate as the DRS at that distance.

I want to make lighter the second step of the trigger. I will try later today.

Now it is not bad…. But could be better.

You can change calibres..it's just not as quick as some guns.

First Hunt.

215 yards with public to testify:

The reason to buy the Leopard was being able to make shots at long range with confidence.

Today I confirmed that the objective has been obtained.

Three of the five squirrels taken by the Leopard today were farther away 120 yards.

The success relied on sticking to the top of the rifle, just behind the scope, a list showing how to compensate from 60 mts to 200 mts, based on empirical shooting sessions.

My cousin (one of the witness) said:

If you could tell to anyone of our fathers generation that you took a squirrel with an air rifle at 215 yards, they would say that you are a sick lier.

They all passed away when Sheridan was the best on the market.

Technology on air rifles has evolved A LOT !!!

Only disadvantage of Leopard vs BRK Ghost and Daystate Delta/Alpha Wolf is the impossibility of changing calibers.

On any other aspect I see the Leopard as a better rifle.

Is that really true though? I wonder if the breach piece in the leopard is identical to the other models using the dynamic block ?? If so you could buy the caliber change kit from Huma and while not as easy as the platforms you mentioned it wouldn’t be that bad to swap out.

I am experiencing a feeling of happiness caused by a "mission accomplished". Many years, a lotmor money invested in PCP's...... And now:

The accuracy "is there" for shooting at long distance !!!!!

This is "marvelous" !!

Weight balance is better on the Leopard bottle than in the Delta Wolf..... So easier to shoot offhand.
