So the little Gem comes with a 6mm airsoft barrel.

A wad of TP, two scoops of salt, wee bit more TP and ready for action.

Only one carpenter bee so far, but the day is young.

Do they make #30 bismuth? I need heavier shot.

#12 shot? Coarser sea salt?

Who are you and how did you get into my head?

I know, 11 lbs of #12, oh my goodness no.

I will order the tiny ones and some bigger ones. Bigger ones will allow me to develop a “Buckshot” load for mice! Should be easier to get hits on mice than the qtip darts.

#12 shot works very well on carpenter bees, it takes next to nothing to kill them. My setup will not penetrate through your typical one sheet of shipping box cardboard at 2 feet, half the shot bounces off, and about half is in the interior of the cardboard layers. It will not leave a mark on the wood of my deck at 4 feet, won't mark the siding, and I have on occasion bounced it off windows without a mark but will kill a carpenter bee at 10 feet easily. I've knocked a few out of the air wing shooting at 20+ feet with a lucky single piece of shot, mostly a waste of time trying that as the rifling has the shot spread so far by then, still fun to try. I wear safety glasses when I shoot it, constantly having shot bounce back on me on the deck, can't hardly feel it almost like a feather tickling my face. I bought my 12 shot a few years ago, those prices you put up are WAY more than I paid. Never did find an air gun that I could do it with, all have too much power and would cause damage at close range.

I bought a small jar of McMaster carr a while back to weight some jewelry displays I made.
