Daystate Daystate Black Wolf Tunes/Pics/Stories Here

Hey guys, I got the most expensive Black Wolf in .25 with 28 inch barrel. I'm struggling to find an ammo that it will shoot well. I get 1 inch groups at 50 yards with all my ammo at all different speeds. Has anyone found a setting and ammo that shoots like a Daystate.

Please lets figure this out. I have the blue sping in but I am shooting 25.39gr too fast on MIN.. Which spring is less or more? I have Red, White, and Blue springs. (issue SOLVED below)

Main tune so far: Blue spring, 12 on the power wheel gets 34gr AEA pellets going 960 FPS. (still get flyers). Reg at factory setting (150 bar)
Start by Setting your reg pressure <130 AOA usually sends .25's out at over 150 which is too much. Why a 28" barrel? you plan on shooting slugs ?

There was a large fuzz ball caught in my Air Stripper at the last 3 inches in my shroud. It randomly fell out this morning when I was handling the rifle. That solved all my issues and the Black Wolf is now shooting like a laser.

With an Huggett 5 inch LDC at 52 yards, AEA 34.9gr pellets. Blue spring. Reg at 150 / Power Wheel 12 =970fps, 11 =950fps, 10 =930fps

I would gladly buy this again for it's unmatched beauty and precision. This thing is shooting just like you would expect a top Daystate to shoot. Full review on the way. I am glad I got the Laminate. I do wish I had gone with the 23 inch barrel.

You could probably drop the reg to 110 to start and tune to velocity you want from there. You should be saving a lot of air

So buy yourself a 23” barrel and swap them!

Oh boy, a brand new gun. Get out the pliers, screwdrivers, allen keys and all the airgun adjustment tools! I would expect a rifle of this caliber would shoot it's best right out of the box.

Nahhh, only 4 Allen’s required and just remember that airgunners who like to tweak things… are well, tweaking things. That and remember that this gun, like the ghost, is made to be fiddled with 🤩 all part of the fun and after market plan 🤣

I'm guessing a barrel is $800....that's why. Also, just like the Delta Wolf, They tell you extra barrels are available but they don't actually sell them. Even now a Delta Wolf barrel is not available. You have to submit and order form to Daystate England and pay in pounds. And yes, they are about $800. =( NO Daystate barrels are listed at AOA. and the Delta Wolf/Alpha Wolf has been out for years. Hopefully I'm wrong and AOA will get some. But I doubt it.
