Snowpeak Artemis P15 5.5mm - location of hammer spring adjustment screw

Good Afternoon all. I would like to know where the adjustment screw for the Artemis P15 is located at on the rifle? I would like to tinker a bit with fps with my current pellets (Hades 15.89gr) which is running at 834fps avg. I would like to possibly take it up up between 875fps and 925fps depending on what my pcp like. The reason for the adjustment is that this is my son's (6 year old) first rifle which he will shoot birds, meerkat and or rabbits with while we are on hunting farms, so he is not precise with his shot placements and I want to go up a few grains in pellet weight or even go to 21 gr slugs if he does miss the head, the impact would be great enough to humanely take the animal down.

Here is some 5 shot groups I took one evening at about 10 meters. The rifle was zeroed on 25 meters with the Hades.

The hammer screw is on the back of the gun. But you just can’t start twisting it in like a speed controller. Your regulator is your speed controller. Your hammer spring is the tuner that lets you get the most out of the reg setting. The window of speeds with the hammer spring and still having a decent tune per reg setting varies with each gun. Some let you get away with more than others. If you decide to shoot slugs, you will be raising your regulator setting big time.

The process I use is to turn clockwise increasing force until velocity stops going up. Then I go down to a velocity 3-5% under the highest it achieved. If that is not high enough you can try increasing the reg. My 22 and 25 caliber P35s came with a reg setting almost as high as the hammer spring can handle. But yous might be lower. Mine likes 21 grain H&N and shoots them about 815 fps

hi j, I've just joined myself and wanted to know where the hammer spring is on the p15, because the foot-lbs is 11.28 and before I was getting under 1000fps with bisley 1.77, 10.5 grain, then I stopped shooting for just over a year because of a family situation, and the other week I took it out and put a stupidly light pellet in it was a bsa shock 7.56 grain and I put it through the chronograph and was shocked to see it was only giving me 818.9 fps a huge difference even when I went heavier it was getting so bad I felt like throwing the gun away and buying a knew but different one, but i was convinced it was a good rifle and clean my barrel out because I left it how long, now I've cleaned the barrel and expecting a pull through tomorrow if that hasn't worked with hopefully finding the hammer I'll just buy a new gun👍 hope you can help or someone can many thanks D

I’m sure.
thank you so much, my partner obviously doesn't get it, she's saying it wouldn't hold any air if that was the case but she doesn't know about this sort of thing lol, I've tryed to explain to her, maybe you could explain it to me and i can show my message to her, thank you though so it's either a new reg or new o ring's for the reg?, you've been a great help thank you 😁💯🤝
