This hose made it exciting

I want to know how or why that nut of the fitting is so chewed up and where the rest of the fitting is at?

No clue, that was what was left.
And at 4450 or so it gave way.
Your point?
4500psi is different in other applications?
The link you posted shows a braided fill whip with FOSTER connections at BOTH ends. Where dose a hose clamp & barbed fitting come into the picture? Did you alter the hose shown in link? I'm not understanding the whole story here.

Yikes…I mean put a bunch of pressure in and sometimes things go boom 💥. Shoot springers because of this? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. We all better stop driving first and foremost. By 100000000000000 miles the most dangerous thing we all do and think nothing of it. I will take precautions but personally ain’t worrying about hpa

I recommend we all stop living. Only way to not die. To hell with half measures, get out of your own house!

No, that is obviously an M10 fitting that screws into the compressor.
Note the threads on one end and the barbs on the other.
I would love to see a Foster like that.

The crimp (they called a clamp) is missing, but that's how they look after that event. Looks about right for mainland chinesium crimp qc.
