Barra Nasty leade, .22 250Z

Is the damage clos to an end? If so, breech or bore? The barrel might be able to be reworked to remve the damage.

Mine was pretty bad too, but mostly because they had done nothing, and you had to push the projectiles right into the squared ends of the rifling. I made a reamer from a cratex bit and fixed mine. I'm putting a link with some pictures.

I totally missed seeing an email from Barra! They are shipping me a new barrel...
Shockingly, this thing is a laser at 50 yards! Tweeked the reg up like a 16th of a turn. Using Covid era MRDs! Still an occasional crazy flier, but not a bad as from other guns. My opinion of JSB has gone up a notch or two...
This cheap a$$ gun is everything that I wanted my POS Crown(s) to be. The trigger is even better than FX's ball bearing $#%t!
Not a 100 yard gun yet. But the reg is still at 2000ish psi. Fingers crossed.

I just got my 250z today from Barra. Same damage in my barrel, but 1/2” in from muzzle. Full circumference inside, like some tool/collet inserted. Crown looks bad too. Sent a video in an email to Barra. What a bummer to anticipate a new gun then find this out of box.

Yikes! They refunded one of the two barrels I ordered when they figured it out that it was me.
My hopes weren't high to start with. But maybe I'll get something that isn't worse...

I’ve seen a lot of these problems on the .22 …. I think they much have had a problem in that run cuz my .25 barrel is lovely.

Just yesterday; They offered a second refund.
They also offered to borescope some barrels and send me one of acceptable quality. Hoping such a thing actually exists, I accepted the second offer.
I have a feeling they will be hard pressed to find one...
Edit to add. In another thread I showed what the two replacement barrels were like. Both were just as bad as the first. They made the second offers when I showed them what I found.

Thanks for the intell.
I contacted Barra with a borescope video. They sent a prepaid shipping label and I shipped it back. Crystal in my customer service emails said they would borescope a replacement barrel to ensure no damage. Well, Barra sent me a .25 cal barrel instead of a .22 cal. So, they sent another prepaid shipping label to ship back the .25 cal barrel. I had to email them the UPS receipt of the package before they would ship the proper .22 cal barrel.
Now I just hope they truly bore scoped the barrel they are sending me. Your experience has me a bit disheartened...

I bet because the .25 cal isn't damaged. They didn't want my damaged .22 barrel back.
What in the flying F's are the Chinese sticking into/doing to the barrel after the rifling is cut??? Some sort of holding device to apply the nitride?

I just scoped the original barrel. I've fired several hundred shots through it.
I was expecting to find it loaded with lead.
