'Best' budget .25 pellets?

I've done a few searches on this forum and did not find any post on this. I'm sure there must be some but I can't find them.

What are some of the more highly recommended .25 pellets? .22 pellets are obviously lower cost with far more variety to choose from, but I'm trying to master my .25 setup and practice with that.

I'd love to have some recommendations on budget-friendly .25 pellets that are generally accurate and have good quality control out of the can.

Thanks in advance for any help.

What gun, what pellets have you tried & at what speed? Information is KING when asking assistance, you don't provide much. Are you only looking for "budget" pellets or what will deliver most ACCURACY? Or the most accurate budget pellet (which MIGHT not be as accurate as some that cost more).

The link takes you to pyramid air, it's already set to show .25 cal pellets from cheapest to most expensive. And if you need a brake down it shows you the cost per pellet for each selection.

I just got my first 25 early this spring.

25 is for big spenders! LOL

Apollo may be the least expensive. No idea how the 25s shoot.
The 22 Apollo that I have are the heavy wadcutters…Meh.
It's not bad. I just buy logs of exact kings. Bulk buying is your friend. Ne airguns will make you bulk deals if you buy a good amount.

Like a lot of people said, it depends on what you're shooting. And two guns the same make/model might not like the same pellet. I shoot a lot of Vortex Strike pellets in my AEA HP/SS Plus which do outstanding. FX and AirArms are also good fairly cheap pellets. Pellets and guns are like the old adage; If at first you don't succeed, try, try, again.

What price do you consider budget friendly? I know 25 cost more than 22 but I don't consider it cost prohibitive

Nothing is cost prohibitive, but I just picked up a .25 and given that we'll eventually put thousands of pellets through it, figure it was worth an ask.

To all, I found my 'solution' - the FX pellets. Thanks.

You mean like these? They're still $10 on PyramydAir

yes they have worked well for me in just about every .25 that i've had........many 🇺🇸
Hatsan has free shipping, code FreeShip
.25 Barracuda are $7.99 per 150

That works out to be 16 bucks for 300 same as FX pellets from Trenier

I've tested JSB, AEA, FX, JTS and a few others.
I find the H&N Barracuda to be the one that works well in ALL of my guns. JTS being a close 2nd. The JSB/FX were very average. AEA were inconsistent.

I look for consistency with all my guns. H&N seems to do that well. Barracuda Match and 18 in my .22.

Zan in my .30.
