Fastest Pellet Sorter in the Works

Sorting 22cal pellets.

The LCD display shows the weight followed by the Bin # and the pellet count for that bin.

"Typical Weight" and "Tolerance" can also be seen. Both are user inputs and the test limits are generated from these 2 parameters.

Pellets are actually being sorted into bins, based on the measured weight (in grains).

At this speed the output can be up to about 4k pellets per hour.

cool machine , can it be set to a yes / no tolerance ? Yes would be a perfect single weight , no would be everything else ? I assume this is possible .
Yes it can be done but what's the point? What you asked for is the same as: "Take 1 bin's contents (the perfect single weight) and lump the other bins contents together."

The "Tolerance" can be set to 0.1% which is practically the perfect single weight that you want.

Now just make the top a bit bigger so you can dump an entire tin of pellets in and crack open a beverage :D
We're thinking along the same lines. I added a tray and it's not quite self-feeding yet but much faster than one-pellet-at-a-time.

That means the machine can weigh for example an 18 grain pellet to a tolerance of 0.02 grain?

In the first video you can see the display showing the difference to target/set weight, the lowest I saw was -0.04gr but there also was a 0.00 so I guess it goes down to 0.01gr differences at least. May be even finer if the display just doesn’t show 0.00x. It’s amazing. I never sort ammo just because it would be too tedious. I’d buy this thing in a heartbeat.
