A touch of help needed on Kratos

So while shooting cicadas this morning (since they are in full swing here) I had some pellets fall backwards into the action. At first I thought that they were falling into the grass but when the cocking lever jammed I realized they were going backwards down into the hammer (I guess that's the terminology). Now they seem to be smashed down in the slot in the pic where the Allen wrench is pointing. Any thoughts? What's the best way of depressurizing or am I ok to continue. Can't seem to get any further than this. So for anyone else reading this never tilt the gun in a upward position while single shot tray loading.

I had the same thing happen on my Gunnar. I had to pull out the hammer and pick/scrape out the residual pellets. The hardest part was picking out the pellets that mashed around the poppet stem. I did it gassed up.

The next time it happened it was really bad (my son had let a bunch drop while single loading pellets) until we realized we had a problem. That time I degassed and pulled the poppet better clean it out.

Got it. Super easy now that I done it. I'm glad this happened as I have a greater understanding of the rifle. Pulled the tank and valve assembly out by removing 2 set screws and the offending pellets came right out. I had blown out the breech oring too so I replaced it. There was one in the kit left over from from when I purchased the rifle from Airgun Revisions. So, now I need to find some more breech orings.

I almost never use the single shot tray on my Akela for this reason. It happened to me once, but I realized what was up right away(thanks AGN). I just took the top off and removed the pellet. In my case, it was easy.

Any tips on how to measure these for replacements?

Airgun Revisions may have O ring kits for the Kratos. Don't see them on the website currently. If you have the old one, and it's not in bad shape, just measure without compressing, and order the size you come up with, and maybe the next size above and below. They are pretty cheap, and there's a minimum order (probably 20). It's probably a good idea to order some of the other common O rings at the same time.
