What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

I thought those were springers and I know very little about them except that I can't shoot them very well. Have you shot any PCPs? I wonder if they are any easier to shoot off hand than springers? Although the 300 might very well shoot very similar to a PCP?

Thinking of ThomasT today too… Shot these cards testing pellets in my Vet 1 Standard .22 @ 50Y today. My buddy is going to borrow my Taipan Vet to shoot his first N50 match Saturday.

I have a couple of friends that have them and I’ve shot them off the bags a little. Never tried them off hand though. I’m sure the 300S will hang with the PCPs for accuracy but will be a little more difficult to shoot as well due to the quicker lock time of the pcp rifles. Off hand at least.

The mental game is everything for me. I shot a dozen targets or so tonight. These 6 are the best of the lot. The other ones were way worse. They are 5 shots @ 10 Meters off hand with my 300 S. Steve, could low blood sugar before dinner have contributed to the lack of focus? Either physical or mental factors can distract me. Not to mention a dog barking nearby or other sound out of my control.

I use them for sighing in, correcting scope adjustment, and comparing group sizes.

Shot these a couple days ago with my new to me Taipan Vet 1 Tactical long 22. Just trying to find a few pellets it likes best and at what distances. I have not touched the tune but just shot it as received. I was straining to see using a 10x scope.

I’ll be honest with you. 2 months ago my off hand shooting was embarrassing. Since I decided to try and get better I’ve actually gotten better.Not as good as I’d like but hey, I’ll probably never get there! It’s challenging and fun and isn’t that why we shoot these things

I participated in an “Appleseed Project“ several years ago and that was the first and last time that I ever shot off hand. It was difficult and I have a great respect for you and others who are proficient at that discipline.

Great groups with all the ammo tested! That barrel is not too picky . The JTS 25's were outstanding, the AA 18's pretty special too as wel as the JSB 25 shallows & RM 25's.....dang that's a lot of different ammo for you to choose from!

I usually don’t shoot in the morning but I went down to the basement to check on the dehumidifier. My RWS 45 was there on the table so I thought what the heck I’ll shoot 5 shots. I had changed to the smaller iris and that helped me see the Perl Korn front sight insert a bit better. Have a great day everyone.
