Krale And UPS Import charge??

I see your point but I feel like I should get to know the real price BEFORE I buy.

This axiom is the holy grail of fundamental commerce.
Krale and Huma are some of the best retailers possessing some of the best customer service in the entire industry. this thread surprised me because of all suppliers I expected them to be very straightforward about this. They go beyond most ethical standards. As shown by @TMH they have given written notice.
It pays to keep up with fees which may be encountered when buying abroad. I’ve just ordered a mod and Reg from them. Products of Czechia. Nothing extra.

Are you sure there will be nothing extra? Just because it is not on your invoice from the vendor does not mean it will get into the country without fees. I may be mistaken but the EU has a 10% minimum tariff applied against all products at this point in time. That's the whole point. Tariffs get applied when the product lands in the country or possibly a bonded warehouse outside the country. While some larger importers may choose to suck up some of the losses due to tariffs there is no middleman to act as a buffer when buying direct and it lands completely on the buyer

As of this moment nothing on tracking. I assumed it would’ve been embedded in the $46 shipping for a regulator and moderator which was high, as I usually pay $32 for express saver from huma. If I get another 16.80 tagged on I’ll report back here.

The bottom line is that the consumer must be aware of the economic impositions of the executive orders. In order to know the price one must apply some basic maths skills. We learned percentages in grade school when I was coming up. I don’t know if they’re still teaching this stuff, but it’s good to check behind vendors anyhow. I’ve caught excessive tax rates being applied.

In the current political climate consumers must be vigilant in assessing their own fees in order to know what to anticipate. in doing so one has an idea on what the should be paying and can dispute excessive charges and errors. This isn’t a ”no one told me” type of situation unless you’re completely cutoff from media which can’t be the case because we’re discussing economic current events here.

I just ordered a Buckchrono at 160 USD, the shipping to Denmark ( cheapest option available ) is 50 USD, then when it arrive here i get slammed with the 25 USD handling fee and i suppose 40 USD sales tax and then probably 5 USD customs.

That is if it is business as usual, but not sure with the circus USA have turned the world into i might well be slammed even more.

if i was Krale i would cut the states off from any purchases till much later in this decade
so, if the box got charged the tariff then the box was opened or the box was marked as a product of China
our hobby just got less fun i am afraid and i would assume that all imports are going to pass the markup to us as buyers
PA sent out and email with a video stating they had no idea how bad it was going to get but if they were to pay more they would be passing that to the buyers

it may be time to sit on our hands and not order anything

I don't really agree that Krale is very good about tarriffs. I see the fine print now that it has been pointed out but they offer product all over the world. How does the customer know where it will ship from? I have done business with Krale several times now so I understand they ship from the Netherlands but that is not apparently true for AliExpress or GX. I've ordered from both since the minimum price exclusion went away and never paid a tarrif. I don't know if they shipped from here or China or another country but I didn't get hit with a tarriff. I think Krale is kind of unique in only shipping from their country and taking the attitude that once it leaves their dock it's your problem. I don't think it's illegal but it is not how the best in class companies deal with things. I get tracking info from other suppliers while the shipment is in transit but not from Krale. I think they are OK and when their price is low enough or they are the only place I can find something I will continue to buy from them but they are not my first choice, partially because of their hands off approach to shipping. They also pretty much refuse to respond to emails. But they are good if you call them. Overall I don't think they are a really bad supplier, just not a really good one.

Its not Americas’ fault that there are a lot of clowns in the rest of the world…

I got absolutely killed by the exchange rate when i ordered a Edgun Lelya from another part of the world. Paid like almost $2,300 for the thing. But at least it was an Edgun and top quality. I can‘t imagine having a bone stock budget chinagun for Taipan money. I couldn‘t do it. I would rather lose some or all the up front money than to have to stare at an average budget PCP that I got raped over. A $1,400 P35? No freakin way. I don’t care if you light your cigars with Benjamins. It’s just dumb. I hope you can refuse it and recoup some money. Then put it towards a good gun purchased here in the states.

No man should want his new toy that bad.
