Guns with a reg in bypass can still shoot pretty good. But a gun with a bad barrel won’t shoot even with a great reg. At least you were able to get a barrel. But ironically can’t get a reg. Crazy.

Yeah pellets/slugs jammed in the barrel and shot into each other and/or pounded with a rod was one of my theories as well… but then, it’s a TJ ChroMoly barrel, a lead projectile shouldn’t leave such deep indentations in that, or should it?! Ah well, who knows… As for the reg, yeah thought about putting a huma in… Still would have been nice to hear anything from AAA one way or anotherLuckily for you Huma makes regs for the evol.

Btw my buddy had those same "rings" in his barrel liner, and it happened because of cleaning his barrel with a metal rod trying to pound pellets out of the barrel that a customer packed into it in the middle of a hunt.

With all of this discussion regarding lack of support for the AAA EVOL guns, one has to wonder whether all resources will be directed toward the new barrel business? When you think about the headaches of running an airgun manufacturing business. And compare that to the 'relative' simplicity of running a custom barrel business. And then look at what airgun accessories/upgrades cost as a percentage of a gun's overall cost.
Maybe custom barrels is just simpler overall and has a better margin? And maybe that business is going to be the only one running in the end...?

I would say not.
Tom love producing these guns I think the bigest issue as I see it any way is her needs so help around the place and probably isnt just yet large enough and I dont think he want to be any larger.
running what is basically a one man shop means he is doing it all ( I think think I recall him saying he had one employee )
so imagine he is running the shop fielding calls a nd emails trying to get to shows and events I dont see iy being possible?
not being able to offer the best of service is not good for anyone including AAA
I am hoping for the best
I do think AAA is going no ware but I also like so many others I see the issue

Wouldn’t be the first business that grows too fast for its own good. I have a client that x12’d its sold units in 7 years. They’re manufacturing, so not services, and their production lines take a year or two to be ready to go after green light so all resources went into churning out product. The brand almost exploded cause they couldn’t provide any service for the stuff they sold, their infrastructure wasn’t ready for such volume and all the admin/finance stuff was ignored, so they almost blew loans, were behind on tax filings and many other issues. Sometimes it’s better to pace yourself and grow in a controlled manner…
