Karma EQ 30 cal 50 yards

These are uncensored targets with the EQ @ 50 yards. Start to finish for the morning, it was probably about 30 minutes shooting time for everything. I wasn't messing around with settings while shooting, or pausing long between shots. The settings were: Hammer 1.5, regulator 2300-2400psi. Ammo was aea 52.2 master slugs. I dont sort the ammo, i use the magazine. The worst looking sheet with 8 groups was aea 50.5 gr pellets( bottom right). I did switch to pellets for a few mags then went back to slugs and knocked out the green paper target. All of the groups were 5 shots. Started top left and worked down. Good luck guys. Next time I will mess with settings and try to dial it in, if that's even possible idk?

One thing that I have learned about switching ammo during a shooting session is the first few that you shoot as soon as you switch do not always go where the others do. I am not sure if anyone else has ever experienced this? I always burn three just out of habit when I switch ammo before I take a try at shooting a group.

For sure, I was off on wind and elev. I had to move my turrets for the switch to pellets, then adjust back to my zeros when I went back to slugs. They were not the same point of impact. Now that I know what ammo I'm having the best luck with next time out I will try to see if I can tighten up the groups by messing with the settings

I'm not meaning they have a different point of impact from the other ammo. I mean that the first few pellets or slugs from the switch don't go where the rest of the same ammo from the switch do. So if I shoot 10 rounds of pellet "A" then switch to pellet "B" my first few pellet "B's" hit in a different place than the rest of the pellet "B's" it's almost like when you clean a barrel and have to re-lead.

Agreed, testing ZAN's .30 Slug Assortment box, during a single shooting session, taught me that. Working through weight variations from 45.5 to 68 grains, realized initial slugs were going to be off, chalked it up to barrel "conditioning," as noted. WM
