I am swapping my FX barrels with L2, 22x480 is my every day standard and x600 and x700, and I absolutely don't see any reason to put a barrel tensioner.
But here it is with a FX shroud.

Watched a U-tube vid showing free float versus tensioned. It appeared the user was just tensioning against the handguard with the moderator for both tests. Seemed the results were better with a tensioned system. I like the tensioned setup as the handguard area is not bulky and then allows for addition of the behemoth chambers.

I've been trying to take look at the EGW barrel tensioner but it looks like it's been sold out for sometimes. I guess I will digging research on FX barrel instead

The Edgun barrel is a full steel barrel. Mind you if I am asking what a H you trying to tension there?

That's a great question for ED himself as well as other mfg that have implemented tension systems in current and past with sales descriptions. If you are asking me why I considered it is the skinny forward grip area and the behemoth adapter. If it was even remotely possible, Russia has some slim slick offerings which do not require replacement of the locking pin, but I'll probably never get my hands on any of them. I don't need all the "FAT" on the front of my leshiy nor on my black powder burners. I thought about paying for customization of the 250mm mod for a 350mm barrel and then use a thread on mod.

I have the tensioner installed an my L2 .30, 350mm. I have only shot a few times at approximately 40 yards. At that distance it was hard to tell if there was much improvement on accuracy, but I think there was a small improvement. I’ll have to play around with it some more. In any case, I think the tensioner will probably be more effective on longer barrels. After all, the barrel is supported almost halfway up (on the 350mm) by the receiver block so the tensioner is really only effecting a few inches of an already very stiff barrel. I do like the look but I wish it wasn’t so shiny.

Thank you ... as of right now, I'm just sticking with the base standard shroud as I jumped into a bench rest rig ( again ). Poof! $ GONE.
