Gamo Gamo Arrow review (my first pcp)

Pcp is a great activity to get into but it becomes an investment but there are many "hidden jems" out the there with airguns that don't have to break the bank to be good .ever look into the umarex notos ? Or the hatsan jet sbr both in 22 and I'm pretty sure 177 .both come in I think under 250 nowadays
Oh man after getting a taste of pcp, its hard to go back to a multi pump lol. But I have been looking though the classifieds for a Notos as well. I really like to tinker, and the Notos seems like a good platform for that

.notos is a great lil pcp under 275$ one of the best for the price .pinty came out with an airgun line that's real cheap but be careful with those a buddy of mine did a review and the gun fired without pulling the trigger,,eesh .but that notos is built nice and is very customizable. U can buy it for like 250 save a lil bread and for like couple hundred more turn it into a laser beam lol .careful tho this hobby becomes addictive fast and before u know it ur got 5-6 guns scopes everywhere extra mounts lol silencers oh my

Oh yeah I have fallen down the research rabbit hole of how crazy you can get with the notos... FX barrel conversion, bottle conversion, trigger and mag oh man its like the AR of airguns lol. That being said... I am heading over to Airguns of Arizona this weekend to pick up a notos lol

Received the Akela! It delivered a few days ago but didn't get a chance to grab it till today. Man this thing feels solid. There was about 2000 psi in it so I took a few shots at night just to feel the trigger and hear how loud it is. First off I wanna say everything about this feels quality, every action on this thing feel really smooth. But its really loud for our small back yard, I will def need to get a moderator. Airgun Revisions is really awesome, this thing was shipped out really quick, everything was very tightly packed and well oiled, not sure if that was them or the factory but I will be ordering more stuff from them for sure.

congrats, glad you like it. I liked the .22 so much I got a .177 as well so I am a bit biased. The .177 is a bit louder and has a nicer wood grain on it. I still don't think either require a moderator but I did add them to make it more so. For comparison, below Pic with Taipan Vet 1 .25 long shows that all 3 are at roughly 37 1/4 long with mods on the ends. Vet feels 1/2 lb or more heavier mostly due to laminate stock.

Also, You can remove the barrel shroud and unscrew stripper and it is 1/2 x 20 theaded to add mod direct to barrel. unfortunately the barrel is shorter than the tube so you would need some sort of extension or possibly a tanto with cone would fit. I didn't try this so its a complete guess if any mod would work.

Thanks for sharing that info and man what a good looking lineup! Honestly I’ll probably keep it unmoderated, keep forgetting that our fence is a cinder block wall and with a smaller yard sounds bounces a lot, outside of the fence you don’t hear much
