Umarex New Zelos Inbound!

Be warned - DO NOT ORDER FROM DACKS! 45 days with no communication at all. Finally I got a notice that my order was "in processing - but this does not mean shipped". They were unable to provide a timeframe for actual shipping, so a refund was requested. 5 days and counting since a full refund was agreed upon, and nothing but crickets. Next week I will open a complaint with my card company, and go from there. I am glad that I had decided to purchase another one a few days after placing this original order, because I have been enjoying the gun. If I ever do get my money back from DACKS, I will purchase another one so I can have one set up for pellets, and one for slugs without having to dick around with it each time I want to change ammo.

I am currently working on a new valve body to toss some heavier lead (beyond the 33gr I have already tuned the .25 Zelos to spit in the mid 900's).
Spot on, I’ve got my own posts on here. Earlier this year. Had terrible experience. Finally had to have Visa get money back.
They play this homey family place but they take your money and use it as long as they can.

Finally got a chance to go shoot my Zelos a few days ago. Sighted in a couple inches high @ 30 yards which equaled about dead-on @ 50-60 yards. Seemed to be shooting the deadly Daisy Precision Max H.P.'s very accurately so went on a little ground squirrel hunt and got about 15 out to 75 yards, many that were headshots! With a set of Bravo 3D baffles & a 5.5" x 1.5" 3D printed moderator, all I'm hearing is the valve firing and the crack of the pellets giving squirrel lobotomies!

Question - I just shot it with the regulators set as received - the rifle Regulator is set at 2050psi and the Huben Cricket Bottle Reg came set at around 3050psi. Shouldn't the Cricket be set at close to the Zelos operating pressure of 3625psi? Increasing the bottle regulator pressure to match the rifles working pressure will increase the power, correct? Huben included no instructions at all - can anyone guide this novice on how to properly go about the process of degassing and adjust the Huben regulator up to 3625psi?

Everyone should have 2 zelos. 900 for 2 of em is still way less than the guns it’s can hang with.

They had their biggest hit with the Notos and now have duplicated the same thing on the zelos.

I’ll bet Umarex is very pleased with itself !
You got that right Al. $900 on bottom $420 top
Even if I get EQ perfect it won’t be twice as good

You won't gain anything by turning up the Huben bottle reg. It is actually good to have it set close to the guns set pressure of 2050psi, as the guns reg won't have to work so hard. Leaving it where it is is fine, too - the Huben allows you to fill the bottle to higher pressure - many of the CF bottles are rated to 4500psi. The action itself isn't made to take that kind of pressure, so using the Huben reg to supply air that stays within the actions operating range keeps everything happy. If you want to increase power, you need to adjust the guns reg pressure up - I am pretty sure they are not meant to go above 3000psi.
