What do you think of this khaki cylinder bag?

Hey Sleestak,
just to be clear I wanted this bag. Acecare I believe made a mistake with the picture at least with the valve exposed. I did measure for a 9 or 6.8 and figured maybe it’ll fit. That had a 12 liter in pic I think I read after. I’ve seen the US rep ? for Acecare post here , he should correct that.
The price on this bag is just ok but the prices on tanks are good. Add in shipping and their total price exceeds AliExpress.
So if acecare wants me to change dealers there has to be an incentive to do so. I ended getting a tripod bag from amzon that looks ok but haven’t tried yet as there was a mistake in my 6.8 AliExpress and was shipped a 3. They say I ordered it and when there’s multiple sizes I can see how it happens.

Back to the lawn mower bag hhhaaaa, I’ve got 2 unused in shed . Kept cause you know maybe someday I’ll give a f K about my lawn. I’ll have to think about repurposing them….
Mike
Yes, dear friend, thank you so much for the concerns about Acecare, please refer to this video, it is a 6.8L tank with red gauge valve and filing station, they can easily fit in this bag.

yeah, that big bottle makes the bag look alot smaller than it is.

There is way more space than you really need for a 6.8 & a 9 would be perfect. That 12 fills it out, but I doubt anyone's going on many long walks from the car w a bottle that big. So the valve protruding thru one of those valve cod pieces (I made that up, I don't that's the technical term) wouldn't be a deal breaker for me necessarily.

The bag itself is nearly as well made as some of my packs. And I have some costly Hill People packs to compare it to for reference.

Sucks that you didn't get your bigger tank, tho you can never have too many tanks. If it makes you feel any better I ordered a 2 L on aliexpress thinking I was getting a killer deal on a 6.8. That was me though

It's sweet. Totally worth the price of obtaining.

As great as the bag is for the tank I reallllly like the pockets. Keeping organized is half the struggle and the pockets are very nicely done for probes & whatnot. The pocket on the lid easily holds a couple whips.

The quality appears very high. HD zippers and the seams a stitched w tape, so it should be durable & hold up for a very long time.

Recommend & way nicer than my ghetto set upView attachment 535934
Reminded me instantly of the movie Sling Blade with Billy Bob Thorton!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Really like this bag!

Agree & I even ordered a 2nd one. Went w. Amazon this time myself. They gave you the little light too. Nice.

As you may know, I even designed my own bag line but decided to retire from the craft (see my listing)...so I have an eye for quality.
Yes, you have an excellent eye, you found it early and have it, and I hope to be able to communicate more with you. Do you have the Acecare cylinder?

Your review is really detailed and yes, as you said, the product is just that's what it looks like🫶. You described it well, better than I could have described it, I'm Looking forward to being able to talk to you more, are your cylinders from Acecare?

Wow, it fits and looks great. ;)
Yes. And that’s an 88 cu ft (60 min) SCBA tank. It fits even the valve, and then unzip the end and pull out slightly so valve can be accessed for use. The four pockets are also useful, and the inside of the bag is padded for tank protection. It’s a great deal for the money.

I personally really like this bag. It is made from a heavy material but I couldn't find specific information on exactly what the material is on their website. At the time of this writing, the bag is priced just below $50 and shipping is reasonable.

I have a 9L SCBA tank that fits in this bag pretty well. Depending on how much you travel with your gear, this bag may actually be a hair short. My valve sticks out of the end of the bag ever so slightly which, although there is some padding, could be a problem. There is a zippered cover at the valve end, which will zip closed but it is a little snug. At this time, I don't travel with my gear so this is not an issue for me.

My 9L tank. Plenty of room when the valve is sticking out. I have to remove my fill whip when putting the tank fully into the bag.

Most of the pocket zippers are double stitched!! The zippers themselves are plastic. The main tank pocket and the valve cover zippers are single stitched.

There are 4 nice size pockets to handle your accessories. The padding around the bag is decent. It's good for general, every day use but again, if you travel, more padding might be better. I feel there is enough room in the bag to add some padding yourself if you thought it necessary for travel, but again, at their price point, it's very reasonable.

There are 5 rubber feat on the bottom of the bag and a large shoulder carry strap. I find that the bag shoulders quite well.

I like the bag and even though I already had bags for both my 9L tanks, I will likely be leaving my tank in this Acecare khaki cylinder bag for the foreseeable future!!
