Little bit last minute on the notice but we'll be running an indoor benchrest match, tomorrow, Sunday Jan. 5th feom 10am-1pm. Looks like the snow is holding out until afterwards

Cost: $10

It will be interesting to see the results. What distance to you shoot. Your over 4 hrs away, bit far in the winter but would love to be there.

4hrs is definitely a hike. We shoot 3-4 cards at 25m

Definitely a fun day! I forgot the cards at the club but I'll have them tomorrow and will post up the scores for everyone to see.

Thanks everyone for coming out and double thank you to @oaks1450, Mike, and Ed for staying behind to help demo the old wall in preparation for the new, sturdier concrete wall being installed for future matches.

That's the same target we shoot in the 10m Off the Shoulder League. Front rest ok, nothing in the rear. Takes over 20 x s to get in the money, scope limit 14x. Now at 25 yds or 20 meters normal bench rest that's a great target. How about a mail in for us non locals? We are strictly springers, how about you guys?
80% PCP typically. It's all for fun here and really and not a whole lot of rules. Some of the shooters swap out guns between relays, and generally people shoot from a front and rear bag.

That's the way we shoot at my Silhoutte Match.. I hope you get a good turnout. I am interested in what kind of scores you get, especially from any spring guns.

At 25m/27yds, springers vary pretty significantly from the 220 to low 240 range. I think I've personally managed ~243 with a TX200, FWB Sport, and a D75. The Sport is more commonly in the low to mid 230s though. It all depends on how I'm feeling that day.

We no longer count xs, we score them as 11. Most of the matches in our area regardless of discipline score the same way, started about 3 years ago. I was one of the group that started pushing for it. It keeps more folks in the game longer. Plus it allows a shooter to recover from a bad shoot early. Guys no longer pack up and leave because they dropped a point early. And who really shot better? The guy with a 250x250 11x or a 249x250 22 x. These translate to a 261 as opposed to a 271. Which guy would you pick to shoot a grape off your head, lol.
