I was changing my grip on my FX Panthera Hunter Compact and a small spring fell to the ground. Now, my safety lever moves around freely. Has anyone encounter this problem? If so, any advice on how to repair this? Thanks in advance for any help.

I’ve never owned a fx but on other airguns I know there’s usually a detent ball(little steel ball) infront of safety spring. Check where you took the grip off. It’ll be tiny so good luck. Just an idea so I could be wrong. Check the Panthera parts diagram maybe.

If you found the parts, find an exploded diagram next. Fxusa used to have those so they may be in the archive. Utah hasn't gotten that far yet since acquiring the duties for fx. The other poster is right, usually they have a ball bearing and a spring that pushes the tiny bearing into a detent. Fx uses the same safety in the 3 models I have at my disposal, and I don't need to peel a gun apart or I would send pics.
