I believe 18’s as well.
Please don’t assume when you get your new Impact that the factory or the dealer has actually “tuned” it unless you paid them for that service. Even then i would be suspect. I have bought 9 new FX guns over the last 3 years. Half of them came through our best known FX dealer. None of the guns exceeded nominally operating status when they arrived.

Same experience. Mine was definitely not tuned to my liking when I got it either. I was able to drop the rear reg by 35-40 bar and it’s shooting the same speeds just about but everything is working a lot less. 90-100 shots per fill at 125/85 reg1/reg2 shooting 18.1g about 900fps.

Thanks for the input. Looks like I'll just have to chronograph it and see what it looks like.

Be aware sometimes retailers test fire pcps before shipping out to customers to make sure everything is gtg. So some people get some interesting tunes out of the box, and the factory isnt immune to mistakes either. A good chrono is cheap nowadays and really a useful tool with something like an Impact that has so many knobs to twist.

As a former FX USA R&D tech, we set up .22 500 at 95-110b shooting the 18gn at 880fps.
same setup on the M4 at Sweden. In most cases dealer will modify the setting.

Impact has 1000000 different things you can twist and change in the tuning process. I wouldn’t expect it to come setup particularly well for anything from the factory. Not a pull out of the box gun and shoot it. Don’t get me wrong, you can absolutely do it and it will perform but you will be selling the platform so short of its potential.
