FX FX DRS filling issue

Gentlemen this is democracy manifest!

I have a newly purchased DRS, an FX. When I fill the gun to my desired pressure I shut the valve on the tank and bleed the air line however the bleed will not stop and the gun drops 50 bar.

It's as if the valve in the guns filling port is not shutting.

Can anyone offer any advice on rectifying this situation please as it's become a pain. I'm having to fill the gun to 250 bar to end up with a fill to 200. It's just not correct.

Normally all.ot takes is to fill a bit more abruptly....are you filling slowly?.

Bleeding should be violent, not gradually. That in order that sudden drop of pessure seals the valve.

I am bleeding violently, I have a push button dump valve on my bottle for this.

Does it leak by the filling port or by the lower (alike cartridge magazine) black block that is the plenum?

You could try the following:

Remove the stock and insert some silicone grease by the hole of the filling port and then try refilling again.

It doesn't leak, it's just the internal valve isn't shutting as I would expect it to when I bleed my air cyclinder upon refilling.

Try with the silicone grease.

Normally there's a small bolt with an o'ring in the internal,part of the filling port that makes the sealing.

That one could be loose. Tighten it a little many times solve the problem. The point is that I do not know how to get to it on the DRS.

Apologies for the late reply but yes, I took the valve to bits and sprayed it with brake cleaner. It must have had some dust or something in there, possibly bits of o-ring as the rifle had a burr on the filler hole which was eating o-rings.

Hi I’m new here so not sure where to post this. I have the FX DRS and my question is when filling to 230 bar at what bar do you refill so you are not shooting below the reg as it doesn’t have a reg gauge. Thanks

Fill and shoot till you notice a distinct fall off in speed, check gauge

I have always bled fill line / tether nice and easy, i dont see why there should be a need to abruptly bleed for a 1 way valve to work properly.
It would for sure not be popular for people operating in a blind while " hunting" they will want to bleed with as little as possible noise.

No fan of loud air gun shooting or bleeding, or people operating loud vehicles on public streets.

My friend shooting his DRS tethered to a 200 BAR 12 L bottle,shooting a fairly high pressure and so REG, there is no doubt when his bottle hit the limit, his DRS will simply suddenly shoot very poor.
My friend desperately need a dual transfer port so he can shoot more Sane pressures for the 13 GR Zan we normally shoot, CUZ his DRS is way higher than the 80 BAR i have on my Two

Check also the inner edges of the filler hole of the stock. Mine had burr’s that ate the o-rings on the probe. I sanded a chamfer on both sides and that took care of it.
